The lovely Laura Babb started this challenge to give herself a regular dose of fun, creative challenges. Laura’s second challenge was to find accidental art in everyday life and our brief was as follows:

Go for a walk. Identify existing art that you find: things that are not created on purpose. Some examples include stains on the pavement, spilled paint, bird poo, residue, corrosion, rust, things that are damaged, random arrangements of objects that you find interesting, a bag caught in a tree.”

So, I whipped out my camera at every opportunity and snapped away. These were two of my favourite shots:

I am privileged to be able to take my dogs on lovely walks  on the beach. There is nothing quite like it. I love looking at the ripples in the sand and see how the waves have shaped the shore. I took several photos of the sand but this one is my favourite.

At the top of Burgh Island, sits the ruins of a chapel. If you stand just in the right spot, you can see through both windows and out to the sea. It’s so pretty.

So there you go, my accidental art finds. What do you think?
